My name is Myria, and I’m reaching out for help during an incredibly difficult time for my family. My husband, Clay, recently lost his job, and not long after, I was in a serious car accident caused by a driver who ran a red light. The other driver didn’t have insurance, and my car was totaled. I’ve needed ongoing medical treatment for my injuries and am still unable to work. Clay has been driving for Uber, but it’s not enough to cover our basic needs.



We lost our home and are now staying in a hotel, struggling to keep a roof over our heads. Our hotel stay is paid through tomorrow, and we’re two months behind on our storage unit, which holds all of our belongings. Every day is a challenge to cover essentials like food, medical bills, and a safe place to stay. We’re doing everything we can—Clay is actively searching for work, and I’ve applied for part-time jobs as my health allows—but we need help to get through this urgent period.
