I am a single mom of two, and after three years in college, I am proud to be the first person in my entire family to earn a college degree. This journey has been filled with both triumphs and heartbreak. I lost my mom in March 2019 and my sister in February 2026. I started this journey for myself, but I am completing it 100% for my momma, who always believed in me and wanted to see me succeed.
Reaching this milestone means everything to me. However, I recently found out that I need to pay for my cap and gown, as well as a conferred fee, in order to participate in graduation. I also hope to purchase a class ring to commemorate this achievement, but these expenses have added up quickly. My income is tight, and while I have worked hard to get this far, I know I can’t do this last part alone.
The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing my cap and gown, paying the conferred fee, and getting my class ring. Without covering these costs, I won’t be able to officially receive my diploma or fully celebrate this accomplishment. Your support would not only help me walk across the stage but also make this moment truly official for me. I know some pretty amazing people, and I believe with your help, I can make my graduation dreams a reality. Thank you for considering being part of this special moment in my life.
