Our cousin, Myra, who is only 32 years old and lives in Mississippi, has recently been diagnosed with stage 1 uterine cancer. This devastating news has shaken her to the core. Now, Myra faces an uphill battle of medical bills, traveling to a specialized oncologist in Alabama, and unforeseen expenses that may arise along the way.

Myra is a devoted wife to CJ and a loving mother to their 9 year old daughter, Lyla. As her cousins, we have witnessed Myra's unwavering strength and determined spirit, even in the face of adversity. As many of us in the family know, we lost Myra’s mother, Neofe, to ovarian cancer a little over a decade ago and now, it is our time to rally around Myra, CJ, and Lyla. Let us provide the support they need during this difficult journey.

The financial strain of cancer treatment can be overwhelming, and we firmly believe that Myra's focus should be on her healing and spending cherished moments with her family, rather than worrying about mounting medical expenses. The funds raised will primarily go towards covering the extensive medical bills and other vital treatments. So far, she has had a blood transfusion, iron transfusion and d&c procedure. As of now, Myra is scheduled for a hysterectomy and treatment is a two hour drive away. Additionally, there are significant costs associated with traveling out of state to consult with a specialized oncologist who can provide Myra with the expert care she deserves. Your donations will help alleviate the financial burden of transportation, accommodation, and other unforeseen expenses, ensuring that Myra can access the necessary treatment without any added worry.
