My good friend Lex was recently given the devastating news her sweet cat Mylo needs lifesaving care/surgery. Mylo was a young and healthy cat until recently he was diagnosed with urine crystals, something that can be common in male cats yet very dangerous. Lex is one of the most hardworking people I know and puts Mylo's well-being above all else, so he has been on expensive medication and food. Today he got worse again and was diagnosed with urinary blockages, he needs lifelong special care and potential surgery quoted at 4000$+. We are both struggling university students, and with the cost of living getting higher that kind of money is near impossible for us to gather that quickly alone. Mylo is Lex's lifeline and they are each other's closest family, he is her emotional s
upport animal and helps her with panic attacks and anxiety. We are at the point of selling her car which is basically essential for her commute to work and school. I'm sure everyone who has had the honor of having a pet in their lives understands the pain that comes with them leaving you too soon. Every little bit counts toward this lifesaving care for her fur baby.
