Help Myles Rebuild After Job Loss and Homelessness
Donation protected
My name is Myles coleman, and I’ve always been a man who lived to help others. For 14 years, I poured my heart into a job I loved, earning enough to travel, support my community, and live independently. I took pride in my work, but when the economy crashed, my company changed. They began hiring cheaper labor, and through a false accusation, I lost my job—a devastating blow after years of loyalty.
Determined to keep going, I drove for Lyft for three years, but the income wasn’t enough. My savings dwindled, and responsibilities piled up. Then, another false report—of speeding and reckless driving—led Lyft to deactivate my account. It wasn’t true, but it left me with nothing. To survive, I sold cherished family heirlooms, including a 1986 Corvette gifted to me, and electronics that held sentimental value. Eventually, I lost my home.
Now, I’m living in a homeless shelter. The conditions are tough—crowded, with poor air quality and odors that worsen my diabetes. I’ve never felt so lost. Depression weighs heavily, and some days, I struggle to even speak. But I’m not giving up. I have a dream: to raise some money to secure a clean, stable place to live and start my own business. Being self-employed will let me rebuild my life and give back to others, just as I always have.
Your support can change everything. A donation of $10, $25, or any amount will help me get a safe home and take steps toward my business dream. If you can’t donate, please share my story. Together, we can turn this low point into a new beginning. Thank you for giving me hope.
