Help Mylene's Friend Recover from Life-Saving Surgery

Hi, my name is Mylene. Thank you for being here!

I know the internet is full of asks, but this one is deeply personal, and it’s for someone who would never ask for anything himself. He’s one of the most generous and selfless people I know, and now, he is the one who needs our help.

Also, I literally crashed his motorcycle in a parking lot a few months ago while learning to drive, to which his response was nothing but laughter and gratefulness that we experienced it together. Who the hell does that after getting their bike ruined!? I at least owe him the ability to keep sharing his light with the world (or to pay back the damages, I guess).

Now, here are some details: he recently faced a life-altering health crisis. After months of escalating symptoms — debilitating headaches, frequent vomiting, blackouts, and days where he couldn't get out of bed — he was diagnosed with a tumor that required urgent brain surgery. The surgery has since taken place, and while it was a success, recovery has been extremely difficult. He’s still experiencing pain, barely sleeping more than a few hours per night, and struggling to eat consistently.

To make matters harder, just two days before he was supposed to return to work, he dislocated his ankle! He wasn’t able to return to his job, which involved being on his feet and working on motorcycles all day. He’s since found a new job (because of course he did), but he won’t receive a paycheck for several more weeks. Right now the financial burden from surgery and recovery is still overwhelming.

The costs are still expected to exceed $100,000, especially with ongoing treatment and the long recovery process. He’s never been one to ask for help, but right now, he truly needs it.

I’m asking for your support to help cover the costs of surgery, hospital care, follow-up treatment, and living expenses while he recovers. Every dollar makes a huge difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this with someone who can would mean the world.

Let’s help him get his brain back — and back on his feet, literally.

Thank you for being part of this ❤️
