Help Mykalyn rebuild her life.

I am starting this page to help my neice rebuild her life and to assist her with the long journey ahead of her. On Thursday, November 8, Mykalyn received a phone call to grab her dog, get in the car and get out because a fire was coming her way, the Camp Fire in Paradise, Ca. Mykalyn, an EMT grabbed her beloved dog, her uniforms and a few items as she exited the door and headed to help others. She dropped Max, her pup off with a friend, got dressed and loaded an ambulance. She spent the next many hours listening to radio calls of people in need of rescue including those of some of her closest co-workers. The radio conversations will be engraved in her thoughts for a lifetime.

She later learned that her house had burnt to the ground and was a total loss. She lost everything she owned. This house was a rental where she had seen herself living for a longtime and eventually owning. She was uninsured and therefore will need to replace everything on her own and with the help of her family and friends.

Anyone who knows me, knows this lil’ girl is a huge part of my heart and my village. She means the world to us. We are so thankful that we are still able to hug her and help her with what lays ahead of her. She didn’t flinch to go back out to help her community and now people are asking how they can help her, so any amount of support helps or even a share.
