MEMPHIS, Tenn. My little sister, who has a 6-year-old autistic son, is battling for her life after she was hit by a driver who never stopped.
It was just before midnight on Mother’s Day. 34-year-old Myeshia Miller was walking home from the store down North Highland Street near Faxon Avenue when the unthinkable happened.
Police said the vehicle involved is possibly a Hummer with damage to the front and driver’s side and a missing or broken side mirror.
Myeshia is now on a ventilator, suffering from multiple severe injuries such as broken ribs, a broken leg, a broken toe, a torn artery in her neck, bleeding from the brain, damage to her liver, and she has lost a kidney. Myeshia will need a lot of help during her healing process, so any and everything counts, including prayers. With no arrests and no answers, MPD has not identified a suspect, but the investigation continues. If you know anything about the driver, you are encouraged to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.
FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR MYESHIA HOUSING, HOSPITAL BILLS, AND OTHER EXPENSES OCCURRING DURING THIS TIME. PLEASE KEEP HER UPLIFTED IN YOUR PRAYERS, THANKS FROM THE FAMILY.
