Help Mya Live Pain-Free: Support Her Surgery

Mya has suffered most of her life because of her health conditions being left untreated by her owners.

Mya was surrendered by her owners on Valentine's Day 2024. Harmony Rescue took her in and has made great improvements with her skin and ear infections.

I volunteered to take her in as a foster. She has filled a big hole in my heart after losing my brother, my dog Gotti, and my dad.

Mya is on the road to a better quality of life and has made great improvement. She is now extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle.

Unfortunately, she is in constant pain due to her ear infections being left untreated during her life. Treatment with medications has failed and not eliminated her pain. She is still in pain, scratching her ear despite all the medications and treatment provided.

Mya is a good candidate for TECA-BO, a total ear canals ablation, which will eliminate her ear pain 100%, and greatly reduce or eliminate her chronic ear infections.

We have consulted with Dr. Winnie at Greenfield Vet who will do her surgery on December 6th. The surgery is estimated to cost $1600.00, and if blood work is needed, it would be another $150.00.

Mya will probably be on lifetime medications for her allergies to make sure we protect her other ear.
