Hello! My name is Mya Lache. I am a Theatre Arts sophomore at the University of Louisville. I need your help with funding this study-abroad opportunity. This fund is to cover the rest of the coarse for the trip! My family and I aren't able to fund any of my education, I am not a very stable student outside of school. I have also had a very rough year with finances and mental health and feel like I have lost a creative spark I believe that looking forward to and pushing forward with this opportunity will help me continue my studies and keep my passion for creating Alive. Our department is going to Freetown, Sierra Leone in Africa! Why does this matter and what we are doing?

Arts in action globally means:

- Engage in cross-cultural exchange through theatre and community service.

- Develop a devised theatre piece with local students. - Experience Sierra Leone's rich cultural heritage through excursions and workshops.

- Reflect on the role of theatre in society and its capacity for cultural dialogue.
