Hi, we are Andrea and James, and this is our dog Beau. Beau is a Yorkshire Terrier who weighs about 4 pounds. Beau came from a terrible place where he was kept in a cage for 2 1/2 years and never knew freedom, a ball, or grass. He's finally found love, but Beau has recently sustained an ulcerated cornea and is at risk of losing his eye. He will never recover his sight, but we want to save his eye. The first thing that drew me to this dog was his big, huge, soulful eyes. I'm sure you'll agree.
In an effort to save his eye, we are using seven different eye drops and medications per day, some of them costing upwards of $75 every three days. My husband and I live on Social Security, and you know how much veterinarian bills cost. I have all receipts and will gladly share them with you. I don't know where this is going, but I know it's going to go on for a while, and our desire is to save this eye. It may not be possible in the end, but we're going to do everything we can to try. If you could help us out in any small way, we would be more than appreciative. It would mean the world to us and this tiny dog. This is my little soulmate, and he doesn't deserve it. He's been through so much already. Please, if you can, share this and contribute in any way you can. He's our heartbeat.
