Help my wonky Chapo

Hi! This is Chapo aka Chapito aka Chop City. For the last four years, he has been my joy during a pretty tough patch in my life. Unfortunately, the last month I noticed a change in weight and a pronounced limp. The same week that I made a vet appointment for him, I happened to get terminated from what I assumed was a stable job. I'm still waiting for unemployment. Yesterday (May 13th) we made the trip to Love City Vets despite Chapo's motion sickness. After a thorough physical exam, the vet found that Chapo is in heavy pain around his hip area. Because of how advanced the pain is, he was either born with hip dysplasia or has a spinal issue that could be more serious. We won't know what it is and what our options are until we get x-rays done. Those are estimated at $666-716 since he'll need to be sedated. In addition to the $65 spent yesterday on pain medication until we can get him scheduled, I'm hoping to raise $800. He and Ratboy are the two that have helped me in the darkest of days. They make me smile at least once a day and for that I'm grateful. Any help in getting Chapo one step closer to those xrays would be greatly appreciated. Thank y'all.
