My wife has been suffering from serious dental complications for over five years. The severity of her ongoing dental problems has led to hospitalizations for cellulitis infections in the past two years. Our dental insurance through my employer only covers a small portion of her extreme dental needs, leaving us with significant out-of-pocket costs. We are currently working to have her remaining teeth pulled and preparing her for a partial set of dentures, but she continues to face ongoing dental issues.

The funds raised will pay for all upper teeth and some lower teeth to be removed, as well as root canals and crowns for the lower teeth as needed. This will help relieve her pain, restore her confidence, and improve her quality of life. Dental issues tied to hereditary factors have caused her to suffer far too long. Despite good hygiene and frequent trips to the dentist for cleaning and care, she has faced continuous cavity problems. Over the last five years, I have watched her lose confidence and self-esteem, not willing to smile at joyous events such as family reunions or her children's graduations. She has felt embarrassed during important moments like her daughter's and son's weddings, often closing her lips during photos to avoid being embarrassed. She has lost confidence to go to job interviews, feeling that no one wants to hire her due to her age and dental issues.
