We are asking for help during one of the most heartbreaking moments our family has ever faced. My wife’s father is currently in the ICU in Brazil after suffering a massive heart attack, and doctors have told us he is not going to make it. She loves her father deeply, and the pain of knowing she may not get the chance to see him again is overwhelming. We live in the United States, and the cost of last-minute international travel is more than we can afford on our own.

We are trying to raise funds to help get her to Brazil as soon as possible—either to see her father before he passes or to be there to say goodbye and attend his funeral.
