Help My Wife, Grace, Battle a Growing Brain Tumour

Donation protected
My name is Darwin, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart for my wife, Grace, who is fighting every day to stay with us.

Five years ago, we were faced with devastating news: my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She underwent a long and risky 13-hour surgery, the maximum time they could keep her head open, and the doctors had no choice but to close her even though they couldn’t remove all of the tumour. After the surgery, they had to resuscitate her. When she woke up, she couldn’t even remember me. It was a painful time, but we were grateful she survived.

But now, it’s grown back and this time, the doctors advised against surgery. They’ve warned that attempting another operation would be too risky — that it could cost her life. So instead, we are moving forward with chemo-radiation.

The total cost for one year of medication is CAD $73,847. This is just for the medications — it doesn’t include hospital stays, tests, or any additional care she needs.

I work in Canada to support our family back in the Philippines, where we have two sons, aged 13 and 15. Right now, I’ve come back home to be with my wife during her chemo-radiation sessions, but soon I’ll have to return to Canada to continue working and providing for our family.

My wife is not just my partner, she’s the heart of our family. The mother of our two boys. We’re reaching out to anyone who may be able to help, whether it’s a donation, a share, or even just a prayer.

Thank you for any support you can give.

With heartfelt thanks,
Darwin
