In February of 2022 my wife was diagnosed with stage four cancer she went through multiple treatments of chemotherapy for her cancer. She has gone through 18 treatments of chemo and 30 days of radiation. We where hoping for surgery but she had a biopsy on her lungs and it came back that the cancer had spread into her lungs and liver. She has always wanted to go to st Louis to see the arch she wants it to be a family trip. Please help me make my wife's dream come true it would mean the world to me
On May 2nd through May 4th we went to St Louis we left at 4:00 a.m. and we got there around 3:00 it was the four of us plus it was my dad on Thursday when we got there and after we got something to eat we decided that we were going to walk down to the arch just so I can touch it and then on Friday we actually got to go inside the arch and we got to go all the way to the top and look out the windows words can't describe the feelings in the emotions I had as we were going up the elevator in looking out the windows the scene was so beautiful I held back tears it was so hard to do though we also got to go to the aquarium and we got to go on the ferris wheel together and at the aquarium we got to pet stingrays jellyfish these little fishies that came up to you and was sucking on your hands and we also got to feel these other animals and they felt like mashed potatoes and we also got to go to Pappy's barbecue the food was amazing we all got a meal to split and it came with a full stack of ribs that fell right off the bone a pulled pork sandwich that we cut into fourth so everybody could try and the pulled pork was so moist and so good then we had a brisket sandwich and that was moist and so good and then we also got a chicken sandwich to share with everyone too and the chicken wasn't even dried out and then you got four sides to go with it and they're barbecue sauce that they had it was so sweet and so good that it made your mouth water I've never had barbecue like this before and everybody says that we are Minnesota nice I don't think we met one person down in St Louis that was mean or crabby the hotel we got to stay at gave us breakfast every morning we got to swim and sit in the hot tub they gave out free fountain pop all day long and then after 5:30 you could go down and have beer wine and have nachos and pretzels and popcorn the staff at the hotel were so nice and then on Sunday we went to the zoo before we had to come home so from the bottom of my heart I would like to thank all of you guys once again for the ones who donated the ones who shared the ones he told people about my GoFundMe and the people who made a snacks for our trip on the way down the ones who gave us gas money to make it and I would like to thank Brooke and Caleb for making our shirts and I would like to say a special thank you to my dad for coming with us we probably will never made this trip without you but we had to come back on on Saturday so we can lay around on Sunday and get rest because it's now it's Monday and now it's back to reality I had chemo today but just to let everybody know that my last scan did show that I am stable so thank you guys once again I can't thank you guys enough
