My wife and I are both 62 years old, and our lives have been turned upside down by her recent diagnoses. She is now facing liver failure, congestive heart failure on the right side, and a kidney injury. The speed at which these conditions have progressed has been overwhelming, and we are struggling to keep up with the medical demands. She urgently needs a heart catheter, a colonoscopy, and an endoscopy to help manage her conditions and hopefully improve her quality of life.

Unfortunately, our insurance has refused to cover her treatments, claiming they are preexisting conditions because she was hospitalized before we could get coverage. This has left us with mounting medical bills and the added stress of not knowing how we will afford the medications and procedures she desperately needs. Every day feels uncertain, and we are doing our best to stay hopeful and strong for each other.
