My wife was diagnosed with Renal Cancer in October 2025. At the time, we did not have insurance, so we paid for all the tests and doctor appointments with cash. We signed up for insurance that started January 1, 2026, and on January 26th, she had her left kidney removed since it had the larger tumor. The kidney was sent off for a biopsy, and she was diagnosed with Papillary Renal Carcinoma Type 2. We paid our share for the surgery as needed, and she is now recovering at home. Unfortunately, she still has a tumor on her right kidney and will need more tests and possibly a second surgery later this year. As you can imagine, the medical bills and living expenses are piling up, and it’s more than one full-time earner can afford. My wife has not been able to work due to the pain and recovery since October 2025. We are good, hardworking people and never thought we would be in a position to ask for help, but we are reaching out to the kindness of others. My wife is a wonderful person, and we just found out she will be a grandmother for the first time in June. My goal is to help her fight this cancer with everything she has so she can meet her grandchild and enjoy many more moments with our family. The costs of tests like MRIs, PET scans, ultrasounds, and hospital stays are overwhelming. Any help you feel in your heart to send would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
