My wife has always been a devoted mother, even from 1900 miles away. Since 2012, her mother has had custody of both her kids, but she has worked hard to maintain a strong relationship with them. Despite the distance, she has celebrated milestones and special moments with her children, often through phone calls and messages. It’s been difficult for her to miss so many important events in their lives, but she has never stopped being an integral part of their world.
This year, her son Johnny is graduating in Grandview, WA on June 6th. Attending his graduation would mean the world to her, and it would be a wonderful surprise for Johnny. I am a disabled combat veteran, supporting our family—including our 9-year-old daughter—on my VA monthly disability pay. While I would love for all three of us to make the trip, having my wife there is the most important thing.
The funds raised will help cover travel to and from Washington state, as well as expenses along the way. Your support would make it possible for my wife to be present for her son’s graduation, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We would be deeply grateful for any help you can offer to make this special trip happen.
