My name is Ahmed Wishah. Until recently I was a first responder in the Gaza strip, I used to be among the first people to help victims after an attack by the Israeli military. I was also responsible for documenting the attacks on civilians, I went to hospitals to tell the stories of the injured men, women and children.

Since the start of the war, I have lost my brother and 2 close friends, and my family's house has been destroyed. Aftet this, I thought I had my share of pain and suffering, but I was wrong. My pregnant wife was injured during a bombing and admitted to intensive care. This left me with my two-year-old daughter crying and wanting her mother who spent one whole week in ICU. Despite this, my wife managed to deliver the most beautiful baby girl, we named her Celine after our cousin who passed away on the same day. I have nothing valuable now except for my wife Abeer, who suffers from an injury and needs treatment abroad, and my two lovely daughters. I don't want to lose them, so I started this campaign to escape from Gaza with my family to a place where my first child, Ella, can sing to her sister without fear of the sound of bombs or the fear that their mother won't get the treatment she needs.

The only way out is through Rafah, the border crossing between Gaza and Egypt. I need 28 000€ to cover at least the cost of the travel permits. Any extra money will pay for my wife's treatment, and also food and accommodation for my family once we get to Egypt.

I appeal to your humanity to help us get out of this hell.
If you can't donate, sharing our story with others will help just as much. Thank you.

Merci.
