Help My Uncle's Family

My uncle and his wife lost their homes in the Eaton Canyon fires. My cousins are displaced and need essentials. Anything will help! My uncle is a talented math teacher at Crespi High School and my aunt is a teacher at Garvanza Elementary so any support would be greatly appreciated!

Jose and Alison Diaz have two children, ages 11 and 7. Unfortunately, in the rush to evacuate, they were unable to take anything with them and left everything behind school supplies, toys, and sentimental items. Everything is gone. It was truly heartbreaking to see them lose what they had carefully collected over the years.

Lulu Diaz, age 11, is an avid reader, with a special love for book series like Harry Potter and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, she had collected the entire set. Clayton, their 7-year-old, was passionate about building Lego sets, and all of his beloved collections were reduced to ash.

Mr. Diaz has been a dedicated math teacher at Crespi High School for many years. For much of his career, he has also served as the cross country coach, giving so much of his time to the community and going above and beyond to help his students. He is truly a pillar of his community, always there for anyone in need. Mrs. Diaz has also devoted her life to serving others. As a teacher at Garvanza Elementary, she has been instrumental in the lives of many children. She is a kind-hearted person who frequently coordinates playdates for her children and the neighborhood kids.

It is devastating to see their home destroyed, leaving behind little trace of their lives. We understand that thousands of families are in the same situation, and as a community, we are stretched thin. Any help, big or small, would be immensely appreciated.
