Back in June my uncle was told that something had showed up in his blood work which would be prostate cancer. They said it was small and can be removed. His doctor later was tested positive with covid and was out for the next month which prolonged the removal of his cancer. Which started as a non threatening diagnosis has now turned into the beginning stage of stage 4 prostate cancer. He was set to begin radiation this week but because his insurance does not cover it all he is expected to pay 3,000 upfront and 500 a month for his treatments and they refuse to start unless he has that all upfront. As if people weren’t struggling enough due to the pandemic he’s unable to start something that can save his life. If anyone is able to help just a little it would mean the world to me. Coming up with an extra 500 dollars a month and having a life saving treatment held above your head until the money is in the hands of what will save you is not fair. Any little bit will help.
