My family in Ukraine (Donetsk region) is living under unimaginable conditions caused by the war. I have been in contact with my my 92 year old grandmother, my uncle, aunt, cousins and their children and our conversations leave me heartbroken every time. I hear firsthand accounts of the sound of sirens, sights of missiles, and the destruction caused by the Russian military. The aggression is not completely new to them, as they have had to live alongside conflict that started back in 2014 but things have gotten exponentially worse. In the most recent update, we heard about how the church my mom was baptized in has been bombed.
My mother and I feel a great sense of urgency to help them however we can, which is why we are raising money to send them to help in their fight for survival. We are also raising money as those in Eastern Ukraine, closer to the Russian border, do not have the same options to flee and will not receive the same aid, if any at all, like those farther West. Since humanitarian corridors have been less than reliable at this point, we are raising funds for my family and their neighbors to help them get basic necessities, including medicine, food, and transportation.

Your donation will have a significant and direct impact during this crisis. I want to thank you wholeheartedly for your concern for my family. For anyone interested, I am happy to keep you updated on their situation.
