Help my Ukrainian family escaping war

Hi! My name is Alina Ovcharenko. Many of you know me as a student at Grinnell College Class of 2024 and an alum of Episcopal High School Class of 2020. I am an international student from Kyiv, Ukraine. My family was not prepared for war. They are currently trying to get to Poland and they will need money for food and shelter as they lost their jobs for an uncertain amount of time. They had to wake up to the sound of bombings and helicopters flying near Kyiv. They had to leave their home behind in the middle of the night and move towards the safer part of Ukraine. My mother and my fiancee will be in Poland while my grandmother and my uncle will try to stay in the western part of Ukraine. I love my homeland very much and it has been devastating to watch my beloved city and many other cities in Ukraine being destroyed by Russian aggression. Now more than anything my family needs my support which I, unfortunately, can only provide in limited amounts because I am a student and I cannot give them everything they need. I don't know how long this war will last and I don't know how much longer my loved ones will not be able to go to work and most importantly come back home. I would appreciate any support you could give my family. Please spread the information. Thank you!
