Hi everyone — my name is Levke, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my dear friend Simar. And I'd like to share Simar's message directly with you, where he explains his situation and why we are asking for this money. Thank you for reading this and helping us <3
His Story
My name is Simar, and this isn’t just about a medical procedure — it’s about reclaiming my body and my life.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled to exist in a world that hasn’t made space for who I truly am. I lost both of my parents before I turned 17, and grew up feeling unseen and unsafe in my own home.
Every day since, I’ve tried to move through the world with kindness and courage — but my reflection has always felt like a stranger. My chest is a painful reminder of a self that doesn’t reflect the man I am inside.
To get through each day, I bind. It hurts to breathe, to move, to sleep — but it’s the only way I can leave the house. This isn’t about vanity or appearance. It’s about survival, safety, and the right to feel at peace in my own skin.
❤ Why This Surgery Matters
Top surgery isn’t a luxury for me — it’s life-saving. It means waking up and finally seeing myself in the mirror. It means freedom from pain, from hiding, from the daily battle with dysphoria.
This surgery will let me live with confidence, work without fear, and reconnect with my life and my community.
