One of my best friends is in desperate need of help to escape an extremely toxic household!

(For my friend's safety, I will be keeping their name private.)

This person is a super-talented singer, voice actor, and artist, who is involved of a ton of cool projects, including "Batman: The Protocol," Studio EXO's "Screwball" series, and a high octane new game called "Windweaver." He has also sung for much of my own music within the past few years!

Here's the chase: My friend's situation at home is alarmingly toxic, and as a result, his mental health and financial situation has been worsening. From a young age, he has been subjected to verbal and physical abuse by his own family: an extremely controlling mother and stepfather who constantly belittle him. They throw hateful and passive aggressive comments his way, he's been thrown onto the couch by his stepdad while his mom just watches, and his stepdad easily loses his temper and either punches a hole in my friend's bedroom door or rips it off its hinges entirely. MORE THAN ONCE.

Last week, my friend tried posting his own GoFundMe to help finance his move, but only hours after it went up, his family forced him to take it down. So now, after talking with my friend and getting his permission, I'm taking matters into my own hands and posting my own. Proceeds will obviously go toward his moving expenses, and in addition, I'm planning to do charity streams on both YouTube and Twitch.

This is my first time doing this, but he has no other avenues to turn to. He's one of my best friends, he's incredibly talented, and I want him to be safe and far away from this toxic situation he's in.
