My name is Sarah Shaheen and I am raising funds for my sweet neighbor, Debbie.

Debbie moved to Ocean View, Va a few years ago with her sons to start a different life. She has always been a ray of sunshine and a friendly face to me and my family since we moved across the street from her. She loves my son and watches him when I need it, she's watched my dogs for me, expecting nothing in return. She does the same for many people in her life and would literally give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She watches over the neighborhood, is a listening ear to anyone who needs to talk and is always looking out for everyone on our street and beyond. She is a 3 time cancer survivor and a warrior in her own right. She has never been in this position before and is very upset to find herself at a point where she is at a loss of what to do. She is getting notices of her power and water to be cut off and with a teenager in the house, it's gotten to the point where I feel like I need to help in some way.

Recently, she has had difficulties keeping up with her bills. Her oldest has been out of a job since April and not been able to contribute to the finances. There have been some repairs needed in the house she rents as well that have set her back further. Brakes for her truck and general Dr's bills have put her in a place where she is behind and cannot catch up. She is making changes to be able to prevent this from happening again and is struggling with being in this position in the first place.

I am organizing this to help her get caught up, get the repairs she needs and hopefully put her in a position where she can breathe again. Debbie deserves to breathe and enjoy the rest of her life taking care of her sons and not having to worry about if her power is going to be cut off. Please help if you can and share if you cant.
