Help My Sweet Mom Replace Her Stolen and Totaled Vehicle

Hi everyone! My name is Kristina Avilucea, and I created this gofundme for my sweetest, most generous mom who many of you know, Maria Stich. Early this morning (12/19) around 2 am, my mom got a knock on her bedroom door window as she was sleeping, and quickly woke up to San Jose Police Department asking her to come to her front door. Some low life losers stole my moms car, took it around the Almaden area doing “sideshows” (see attached link for videos), and completely ruined the entire car. It is now totaled. They left her car in the middle of the road and bailed in another getaway car. SJPD took report and towed the vehicle.

My mom, as so many of you know, is the absolute most caring, giving, loving, and uplifting spirited woman. She would do absolutely anything for just about anyone, and she’s the last person that deserves to be in this situation, ESPECIALLY at this time of the year. My mom juggles two jobs— as a care giver, and as a real estate agent. She needs to have a reliable car, and unfortunately since her car is older (2007, and with over 250k miles), she won’t be getting much from insurance. That is where I am asking for the help of anyone that is able to give anything at all. I want to raise money for her to be able to get something reliable ASAP. She would go to extreme measures for my sisters and I, so I need to do everything I can to assist her in making this happen. Times are very financially tight for many, and in this time especially, a chunk of money spent on a car is just not something she was planning on. If you are able to donate anything to my sweet mother, I would be more thankful than I could ever say. I am so frustrated that these people helped themselves to her property, and completely demolished it with absolutely no regard.
