Help my sweet kiddo Reilly replace her totaled car.

As many of you probably saw my poor 18 year old daughter Reilly, in a really bad storm last night (when the police came tornado warning sirens were going off) tried to avoid hitting a deer and rolled her new (to her) car and totaled it. Thankfully she's mostly okay but she has fractures in her back and face, a broken nose, a bunch of stitched up cuts lacerations etc. And an absolutely destroyed car.

We worked really hard to get her that car it took us months (after the last one we bought almost killed her on the freeway) she worked really hard to get it, and register it and everything else, and as you know cars are expensive and crazy hard to come by at the moment. That one was a really special unicorn that we happened to find basically via a miracle. And as some of my friends know the poor kid has had some pretty sh*t luck in that department.

While it KILLS me to see her like this, she's okay and she's going to be okay she's currently stuck in bed but I figured I would try and do something nice and make something positive come out of this really bad situation. You know I would never do any s*** like this for myself, but there's nothing I wouldn't do for my kids.

So I figured I know a ton of people and have a lot of friends and family and some people have asked about sending flowers, or if she needed anything so I figured this would be ok. And also if every one of my friends donated a dollar I could buy the kid a McLaren. Haha jk. But really.. if you have an extra dollar or five or 10 or whatever, and you want to contribute, if I've ever done anything for you, or you want to just pay it forward please feel free.

Part of her stress in this situation, outside of the pain and unspecified recovery, is the stress of not having a car. We live way out in the country, she uses her car for work (she is currently door dashing among other things) so it really is going to kind of screw her. So if I can help her, even partially, ease the stress of getting another car I might as well try. I just set an arbitrary goal, and while I set it up in my name because the banking etc is easier, EVERY dime will go straight to helping her get a car and everything that goes with it.

I love you Reilly and I'm SO glad you are ok. When I saw that flipped over car and the shape my kid was in, I literally wanted to die. I will never ever probably be over that as long as I live, and I pray no one ever has to feel that. So thank you all so much for the support and reaching out. My family appreciates it more than you know.
