Hi my name is isabella, and i am currently starting a goFund me for my frenchie. My French Bulldog, Gordo has been struggling with serious breathing issues due to a condition common in the breed called Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS). I had to rush him to the ER on 06/30/2025, due to his tounge turning purple and his mouth foaming and him not being able to breath. It’s clear that he needs nasal surgery to help open up his airways and breathe more comfortably and safely. This is the second time he has had to be rushed to the ER. Anyone who’s met gordo knows how full of love, energy, and personality he is. It’s heartbreaking to see him struggle just to do something as simple as breathe or play without gasping for air. This surgery will not only improve his quality of life. it could potentially save it. The estimated cost of the surgery, after consultation, anesthesia, and follow-up care, is around $5,000. That’s around the estimate the vetenarian told me. Unfortunately, this is more than I or my family can afford right now, so I’m turning to this community of animal lovers for help.
