Help my sweet cat Anakin beat FIP!
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am raising money to fund treatment for my cat Anakin who just turned 1 years old this June. He has lost a significant amount of weight and is only 6.3 lbs currently. He has FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) which is fatal ie. he will die if left untreated. There is currently an 85% chance success rate for this treatment created by a doctor from UC Davis. It involves injecting shots everyday for 84 days. He’s too young to die and I would love if you can help him live a long happy life that he deserves. Currently he is suspected to have the dry form of the disease and is in the middle stages of it as he exhibits many of the common symptoms such as diarrhea, weight loss, vomiting, low a/g ratio, neutrophilia, normocytic, and hyperproteinaemia.
Please any donation even small ones will help Anakin on his recovery journey. He will also need periodic blood tests and chemistry panels during treatment to see that he has improved/track his progress (the breakdown being approx $3k for the 84 days of shots, $1.2k in blood testing and vet visits, and $300 in other meds and supplies). We are very hopeful that he will be able to eradicate this virus and live. Anakin is an extremely special cat to me and came at a time when I was a little depressed in my life. I love him so much and appreciate all the help I can get
