Hi, my name is Amanda, and I’m reaching out for help for my sweet boy, Booboo. He’s my dog Zoey’s puppy, and he was born on my birthday — truly my little blessing. Booboo is now 7 months old, a Mastiff–Shar Pei–Pit mix, full of love, loyalty, and the sweetest heart you could imagine.

Recently, life hit us hard. I was in the hospital with COVID, unable to work for 2½ weeks, and when I finally got home, I found Booboo swollen, miserable, and in pain. His eyes were irritated, he was whimpering, and I could immediately tell something was very wrong.

The vet diagnosed him with medical issues that require ongoing treatment, allergy medications, prescription eye care, and a strict allergy-friendly diet. His medications (including Terramycin for his eyes), vet visits, and special food add up to far more than I’m able to cover right now. I’m doing everything I can, but the costs are way beyond what I make, especially after losing work due to being sick.

Booboo is not just a pet — he’s my emotional support, my comfort, and my baby. Anyone who knows me knows how much love I put into caring for my animals. Seeing him suffering breaks my heart, and I just want to get him healthy, comfortable, and happy again.
