Help my SuperHero brother get a car!
Tony along with lots of other so-called underdogs, is one of many of my personal superheroes. Simply because every day, despite his disability he strives to be as he puts it, just like everyone else.
He was born with diffused organic brain syndrome a fancy group of words, that simply means among other things they didn't get enough oxygen to his brain when he was born so a lot of his brain cells were depleted. The doctor said he would never go past at the very best a six grade mentality and it would disabled him for life.
As Tony got older the struggles increased And as you can imagine so did the monsters. people some very close to him who said words like you're an embarrassment, are you stupid or something, and of course kids and people that should just know better cruel words including retard.
One day through the power of prayer Tony decided that he was not disabled and that he was going to be as he puts it: just like everyone else. Live on his own, work a job, the American dream, wife, kids the whole 9 yards. He took himself off of social security disability as soon as he was of age to do so and worked a long list of jobs.
God through prayer, perseverance and love, has brought him to a place of healing that is enabled him to live on his own for the past 17 years. He still struggles with the monsters despite all of the encouragement we can muster up. Tony despite great odds has never given up and is living his dream minus a wife and kids, but as I keep telling him there's still time Abraham had children in his 90s. Even though more often then he would like Tony needs financial help and I'll stop right there because God always makes a way and he will in this situation.
Long story short come November Tony will need a dependable vehicle. if I had the finances to do it myself, you would've never got to hear his awesome story about the power of prayer and perseverance, and of course the miraculous wonder working God who defied science and replaced brain cells. so at the very least I hope this was encouraging to all, especially those who are struggling or believing God for some kind of healing for themselves or someone else. God is still in the healing and restoration business.
Please prayerfully consider contributing to this cause and if you're not able to, your prayers are very valuable to us. Prayer changes everything, maybe you know someone who can help, whatever you can do will be such a blessing and I believe God will multiply it back to you even though I know that wouldn't be your motivation, but he still gives seed to the sower.
I don't know how God's going to do it, and you're such a blessing, thank you for listening and remember prayer changes everything! Thank you, so much, for yours.
