Hi, my name is Ms Mustafa, I am a Secondary PE Teacher in inner London. I have the privilege of working with some of the most inspiring, resilient and determined young people every day. They show up, work hard, support one another and never stop striving to be their best, despite many facing challenges that no child should have to carry.
This year, we have the incredible opportunity to take our students on a netball tour to JCA Condover Hall in October 2026, an experience that is about so much more than sport. It is a chance for them to challenge themselves, build confidence, create lifelong friendships and make memories that will stay with them forever.
For many of our students, however, this opportunity is simply out of reach.
I am raising funds to support our students who are eligible for Pupil Premium. Pupil Premium is additional government funding provided to schools to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those who have been eligible for free school meals in the last six years, children who are or have been in care, and children from service families.
At my School around 62% of our students are eligible for Pupil Premium, more than double the national average of around 29% for secondary schools. This means that hundreds of our young people come from families who are already making difficult financial decisions every single day.
The cost of the tour is £160 per student. While this may seem manageable to some, for many of our families it is simply unaffordable.
For some of our students, this would be the first time they stay away from home, the first time they experience outdoor adventure activities or the first time they truly feel part of something bigger than themselves. These are the moments that shape confidence, raise aspirations and create memories that last a lifetime.
My goal is simple: I don’t want a single student to miss out because of money.
Every pound donated will go directly towards reducing the cost for parents and carers, making this opportunity possible for more students. Whether you can give £2, £10 or £50, every donation brings us one step closer to ensuring that financial hardship doesn’t determine who gets to be part of this unforgettable experience.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you for believing in our students. Your kindness will do so much more than help pay for a trip, it will give young people the chance to feel included, valued and capable of achieving great things. Together, we can show them that their circumstances do not define their future.
