My step dad has been a part of our family and community for many years. He is a hardworking man who has always put others before himself, never asking for anything in return. On December 31st at 10 am, he went out for a jog in Whittier, CA, and our lives changed in an instant. ICE agents detained him without warning, and for hours, we had no idea where he was. The amazing neighbors in our community came together, sharing Ring camera footage that finally helped us locate him. Even though he did not resist, he was thrown to the ground and taken away by the agents.

He has lived in this country for so long, working hard and building a life here. Now, he needs our help more than ever. We are raising funds to secure legal representation for him so he can fight his case and stay with his family. Every dollar will go toward giving him the best chance possible to remain in the country he calls home.
