My 9 year old son has autism, global developmental delay & SPD. I was told he would would not talk, would not walk & would not be able to keep up with his peers. But the one thing he always loved was sharks. Baby shark was the only thing he would sing & you could nearly make out what he was saying. He wouldn't say ABCs or 123s but he would always say sharks. My son has always been fascinated by sharks and sea animals.He has made incredible strides in learning, but only if we relate what he needs to learn to sharks. His passion for learning about these incredible creatures has inspired me to help him embark on a shark journey adventure, visiting different aquariums in cities across the country. This experience would mean the world to him, giving him the chance to see his favorite animals up close and learn even more about the ocean and its amazing inhabitants.
