UPDATE as of May 4th… Just wanting to Thank everyone that has donated so far and shared. Ashley completed her 6th Dialysis appointment today and will continue daily through all of next week. Hopefully by the end of next week she will qualify to do treatment at home. My Son remains by her side each and everyday and I am Thankful that due to everyone’s support he is able to do.
Please Help My Son and His Family During This Medical Crisis
As a mother, there is nothing harder than watching your child go through something you cannot fix.
My son’s wife has been diagnosed with severe kidney failure. She is currently functioning at only 3% kidney capacity (which is considered end stage renal failure) and has now started dialysis. She is officially on the transplant list, waiting for the miracle of a new kidney.
They have two small children who need their mommy. And my son is now carrying the weight of everything on his shoulders.
He is the sole provider for their family. Between dialysis treatments, transplant testing, specialist appointments, and hospital visits, he has had to miss a lot of work. He never complains. He just keeps going. But the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.
Dialysis is exhausting. The appointments are constant. The uncertainty is terrifying.
As parents, we want to protect our children — even when they’re grown. Right now, I am asking for help because I cannot do this alone.
Your donation will help with: • Medical expenses and co-pays
• Travel to dialysis and transplant appointments
• Household bills while work hours are reduced
• Basic needs for their two babies
Most of all, it will give them breathing room during the fight of their lives.
If you are unable to give, please share this and keep them in your prayers. We are believing for a successful transplant and many healthy years ahead for this young family.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with my son, my daughter-in-law, and my precious grandchildren.
