We are asking for help during a very scary and urgent time. My son's 13-year-old Chihuahua is currently being rushed to the emergency vet after suddenly developing rapid, shallow breathing. He already suffers from pancreatitis and anemia, and we are terrified something serious is happening right now. He isn’t just a pet — he’s family. He has been by our side for years, bringing comfort, love, and companionship through everything. Watching him struggle to breathe has been heartbreaking, and we are doing everything we can to get him the care he needs immediately. Emergency veterinary care is very expensive, and we were not prepared for something this sudden. The costs for diagnostic testing, oxygen support, and treatment are already adding up quickly.
