Update: 9/17/20 - Surgery is not a viable option so we are looking toward immunotherapy. Treatment MAY be for 1 year.
My sons Dad - Rolf, was diagnosed with viral tonsil cancer last fall and underwent 2 months of radiation and chemo in January/February. He hasn't been healing well, has lockjaw from radiation and/or from the tumor and has lived on a gastric tube since January. Now the tumor is growing again. He hasn't been able to work for over a year and needs help with living expenses!
We don't know yet if surgery is an option or if possibly more chemo or immunotherapy will be recommended. Any which way, he won't be able to work for awhile.
Rolf's known for his funny dry humor, generosity and salty sweetness. We have always shared a deep love of nature, hiking and camping and instilled that in our son Galen, who we started camping with at 9 months old. Rolf's creativity comes out in his building/woodworking and he has helped many in his community of Ocean Beach, CA. and surrounding area
We would like to see Rolf back on the hiking trail and donning his tools to remodel homes but in the meantime, he needs to be able to focus on healing without financial worries.
Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated!
