Help Support My Son Tony Capria After a Devastating Accident
On Monday, May 5th, our world changed in an instant. While on his way to work, my son Tony Capria was hit head-on by a drunk driver. He sustained life-threatening injuries, including a traumatic brain bleed, a severed abdominal artery, organ damage and shattered bones in his right arm and leg. He has already undergone multiple emergency surgeries, with many more ahead and faces a long, uncertain road to recovery.
He’s just 39 years old —young, hardworking, and full of life. Married just two years ago to his wonderful wife, Gina, they were building their future together. He’s the kind of guy who makes life lighter: goofy, kind-hearted, always cracking jokes, dancing in the kitchen, and finding humor in even the smallest moments. His joy is infectious—and now that light needs help to keep shining.
Gina has not left his side. She’s managing his care around the clock while trying to navigate the stress of medical decisions, lost income, and mounting bills. And back at home, his three dogs are waiting by the door, missing the man who always had time for a belly rub, a walk, or a wrestle on the floor.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Ongoing medical and rehabilitation expenses
Lost income during recovery
Travel and lodging for out-of-town surgeries
Household bills and daily living expenses
If you’ve ever met my son, you know the kind of love and laughter he brings to this world. And if you haven’t—trust me, you’d love him too.
Please consider donating, sharing this campaign, or sending a prayer their way. Every bit of support means more than we can ever express.
