Purpose: Tuition and school-related expenses for Junior Year at VSU (2025–2026)
Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
My name is Charita, and I’m the proud mother of a brilliant, hardworking young man who is determined to change the world through innovation, integrity, and community leadership. Esa is entering his junior year at Virginia State University, where he is an honors student majoring in Computer Engineering. He is currently in his fourth year working very hard for W. M. Davis, a local general contracting company.
He’s achieved so much already—and he’s just getting started.
Who He Is
Esa graduated high school with a 3.7 GPA and a Certificate of Merit, and he’s carried that same determination into college where he currently holds a 3.3 GPA in a rigorous STEM program. Despite coming from a family without financial resources or savings, he's never let that stop him from striving for greatness.

He’s is a campus leader, mentor to his peers, and a constant source of pride in our community.
Why We Need Your Help
Unfortunately, despite his academic success and work ethic, we are falling short on tuition and housing costs for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year.
We’re seeking $6,000 to help him return to school without interruption. These funds will go directly toward:
Tuition and fees
Housing
Books and educational materials
Basic living expenses while interning and studying
We’ve explored every financial aid option, but with limited scholarships and no family savings, we’re at a critical crossroads. Your support—no matter how small—can help make sure this bright young man doesn’t lose momentum on the road to success.
How You Can Help
If you believe in uplifting the next generation of Black engineers, in the power of education to transform lives, or if you’ve ever needed a helping hand along the way, please consider donating.
Every dollar helps.
If you can’t give financially, sharing this campaign means the world.
From one mother’s heart—thank you for helping me keep my Esa’s dream alive. His future is bright, and with your support, it stays on track.
With gratitude,
Charita S.
