I really hate having to do something like this, but I’m in a tough spot and out of options.

A few months ago, my son had a devastating accident, he suffered severe injuries to his lower jaw. It was one of the hardest moments of my life, and I’ve never had to stay so calm through something so terrifying. We spent nearly two months in the hospital and went through multiple surgeries.

We’re finally on the back end of the medical side, but now we’re facing the next hurdle: dental reconstruction. Insurance is refusing to cover the dental work, which comes out to around $30,000, and it’s absolutely necessary for his recovery.

On top of that, being out of work while staying in the hospital with my son, combined with a really bad year in my line of work, has left me behind on bills. I’m doing everything I can to catch up on my mortgage so I don’t lose our home, along with other expenses and credit cards that kept us afloat during this time.

I’m sharing this in the hope that some help, any help, might make a difference. Truly, even a dollar helps. If you’re able to donate or simply share this so it reaches more people, I would be incredibly grateful. If I can get things stabilized, my goal is to secure our home in the short term and then work toward moving my family to a healthier environment for my kids, away from some of the stressors we’re dealing with now.
