My son’s life changed in an instant when he slipped and fell outside his sister’s rehab facility during a heavy rainstorm. He landed hard on the edge of the sidewalk, breaking his L-4 and L-5 vertebrae and suffering a serious injury to his lower back. Since then, he’s faced a long and challenging road to recovery, including partial paralysis in his right leg and hip. Despite these setbacks, he’s shown incredible determination—he’s already regained some movement in his right leg and is working hard with weight training to rebuild his strength.

The journey hasn’t been easy for our family. With the loss of income and the added travel expenses to visit him, things have become even more difficult. We’re doing everything we can to keep him in the rehab facility he needs, close to family and the support system that means so much to him. The funds raised will help cover his ongoing rehab costs, his share of living expenses at the facility, and the travel needed to keep our family together during this time.
