Help My Son Noah Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jeremy Hunter, and my 16-year-old son Noah Hunter has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. Noah had been feeling sick since February 2021, and his right ankle constantly swelled up on him, causing excruciating pain. Noah was often incapable of walking around school and doing daily activities. The Ewing Sarcoma is Metastatic. He has a tumor in his right ankle and upper femur. Cancer has spread to his lungs and lymph node in his hip. Noah has a long road of treatment that includes Chemotherapy, surgery, more Chemotherapy, and finally, Radiation. The treatment is expected to take 10 months. Noah lives in Texas, and I work and live in Maryland. It is costly to be able to spend as much time as I can with Noah. Costs include air or road travel, hotel room or Ronald McDonald House when possible, gas, food, and any uncovered medical expenses that will come up as Noah continues to fight. Noah has started his first Chemotherapy session today. I will be in Texas for his three 6-day treatments, surgery, 2-month recovery, and his next round of week-long Chemotherapy treatments. Every day has been an emotional struggle for me, knowing that my son has to fight this hard to enjoy life. He enjoys playing computer games with his friends, reading Manga comic books, and watching movies.
We want to thank everyone for the prayers and support we have received thus far. We ask for continued prayers for Noah. We are thankful that Noah can fight this. I am grateful that my job will allow me to be with Noah as much as possible. My bosses and colleagues have been a tremendous support, as has my Fiancee Jody, who has given me the emotional support needed to continue to have hope. I use this hope and give it to Noah.
