Pls Help my son Nick, Needs Double Knee Operation

I am hopeful this fundraiser will be helpful to my son Nick.  He injured both knees years ago and has been suffering from chronic pain, and is unable to get out of bed most days.  He’s been on a waitlist for surgery for over 3 years now with no surgery date in sight.  The wait times for healthcare in New Brunswick are long, and because of Nick's age he is not considered a priority.  He requires repair on one knee and a full replacement of the other.

Nick has been off work from a job that he loves for some time now.  His job is physically demanding, and without this surgery, there is no way he’ll be able to return.

Nick has always been active.  

He’s a 2nd Degree Black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys motorcycles, snowmobiling & skiing, boating & waterskiing.  

He walked 30 km a day for work as a mailman and now can’t walk  1  km.  Being a mailman was his Dream job since he was a kid.

We’ve decided that we are done waiting and have reached out to a clinic in Mexico (Health & Wellness Bazaar) with a great reputation that specializes in this type of surgery.  We are in communication with the clinic and waiting for the surgery call.

The costs for the surgery and travel far exceed what we currently have saved.  This is a difficult ask for me, but I believe that people are compassionate and truly want to help others.  As a mother it is gut-wrenching to see my son in constant pain and there is nothing I can do to make it better.  

Setting up this fundraiser is how I will try and help him.  Every little bit will help.  My wish is for Nick to be able to walk again pain free. Play with his nephews, walk his dogs, enjoy life, and eventually return to work .  He has lost too many years due to this pain and the mental anguish he suffers daily is seriously affecting his quality of life.
