My name is Philip Coombes, and I lived up on 985 Alta Pine Drive in Altadena while I was married to my wife Mary and our son Joseph. When I saw the fire on the hill, I raced up there to help evacuate and get them to safety. Only had time to get my son to safety. All was lost, and my son lost everything, including all our photos, clothes, and valuables. The entire home, street, neighborhood, and city have been lost and burned to the ground. Nothing is left but memories. I lost many things myself, but my goal is to get him on his feet as soon as possible and start the healing process. These funds will be used for clothing, tools, bedding, and items for a home.
