My son is a bright and big-hearted young man who has always put others before himself. Recently, he has been facing a difficult journey with multiple sclerosis (MS), experiencing severe leg spasms and back pain that have made it hard for him to walk. Because of these challenges, his job reduced his hours, making it even harder for him to keep up with daily expenses. Even though he has health insurance through work, the deductibles and co-payments are so high that he is now in debt with medical bills. He applied for SSI but was denied, and he is struggling to afford his medications, pay his bills, and see his doctors.

There is a new medical treatment for MS that could help him regain his mobility and possibly allow him to return to work full-time, but unfortunately, insurance does not cover it. As his parent, it breaks my heart to see him go through this, and if I had the means, I would give him everything he needs. That’s why I am reaching out for help—to give my son the chance to get the treatment he needs and to ease the burden of his medical expenses.
