My son is currently in prison, facing charges in multiple states. While he has made mistakes in the past, he is not completely innocent, but he is not guilty of the actions he is serving time for. He refused to testify against the other person involved, choosing not to 'snitch' even though it meant facing harsher consequences. This decision speaks to his strong character and pure heart—he has always had good intentions, even if he has made bad choices before. He does not deserve the harsh punishment he received, and now he is fighting for his freedom. The legal situation is complicated, and without immediate help, he could end up serving sentences consecutively in different states, which would keep him away from his family for many years. I am urgently seeking funds to hire a lawyer who can start a motion for interstate compact. This would allow my son to go to court for the other states now and, if necessary, serve any sentences at the same time, rather than one after another.
