My son has been through more than any child should have to endure. At his recent 5-year checkup, doctors discovered an irregular compression in his heart, which is part of his ongoing remission maintenance. He bravely fought Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L) for four years, ending with a bone marrow transfusion. Now, we need to travel to Salt Lake City, Utah for an MRI and to meet with a Heart Failure Specialist to ensure his heart is healthy and his recovery continues.

This trip is happening on very short notice. While I believe I can secure bus tickets, we will need funds for a hotel in case the Ronald McDonald House cannot accommodate us, as well as for food and Uber rides to and from both appointments. I was recently hit with multiple unexpected expenses, and although I work, my income is limited and I will only have one paycheck before we need to leave for Utah. Every dollar will help us get the care my son needs and ease the stress of this difficult time.

If I had family to ask, I would. Begging for help is not what I want to do, but for the well-being of my son, I'll bear my hardships to strangers. Your support means more than words can express, and any help you can offer will make a difference for us.
