My son has faced more challenges than most people experience in a lifetime. Since he was a small child, he has struggled with serious medical issues—he is legally blind in his left eye and legally deaf in his right ear. Despite a titanium eardrum implant, his hearing did not improve. He also developed scoliosis, which required two rods and fourteen screws in his back, and now lives with a broken screw near the base of his spine. More recently, he was diagnosed with degenerative bone disease in his neck, affecting his C4, C5, and C6 vertebrae.
The latest hurdle has been especially hard: his upper jaw never fully developed, causing his adult teeth to break and crumble. He recently had all of his teeth removed, and now he needs dental rod implants. We have attempted dentures, but they will not work due to his lack of bone in his gums. These implants are not just about restoring his smile—they are about giving him the confidence to move forward, find a job, and reclaim his independence. He wants so much to live a normal life, meet new people, and continue his education, but these medical setbacks have made it incredibly difficult.
Your support would mean the world to both of us. After everything he has endured, this help would give him the chance to be happy again, to pursue his dreams, and to feel confident in himself. Thank you for considering a donation to help my son take this important step toward a brighter future.
